Campus Brick Series

I’m what you’d call a typically sappy Notre Dame Alum – I have a million great memories of my time there and the school remains very special to me even 25+ years later.  When ND became my daughter’s dream school and she got accepted, I wanted to make something ND related that she and I could share.  Inspired by a photo of the bricks on my old dorm, I created a sign for her, built of bricks which recorded some of my favorite campus memories leaving plenty of room to later add hers.  Each piece can be customized with your favorite memories and if you want, we can leave some removable so they can be added to over time. 

I’ve started with a few of the iconic images found in South Bend, but I’d love to expand this to other universities, so if you have a request let me know!  I think these make a great graduation or college acceptance gift, or just something unique for your game room.

The signs are made with a combination of walnut, cherry, maple, and padauk hardwoods, and to top it off, the frames come from Notre Dame Stadium benches which were removed during the 1996 renovation, so they truly carry a piece of Notre Dame History.   

Most signs will come in a small and large version, but if you want something even larger, I have done customized ones as well so reach out to Scott@paladinwoodworking.com if you’d like to discuss a unique project.  Please expect about 2-3 weeks before shipment as these are made custom and to order.
